John is a breath of fresh air, and certainly knows about customer care! I broke the handle of my okuma reel and after numerous attempts to obtain a replacement drew a blank. Trolling the Internet I found this site, ''reel value'' and made contact with John. I explained my problem and straight away he knew exactly what replacement part was required, the price including postage was extremely reasonable and received it next day, boom! Job done. Fitted and working like it should, one happy angler.
I found John pleasant and easy to talk to and he is well knowledgeable in his field.I will have no hesitation in using his services again. A pleasure to do business with.

John was an absolute god send. I lost a handle screw cap to my reel and needed it in a hurry. We made contact and he was able to help me measure my reel to get the correct part. It was delivered within 48 hours of the request and i cannot praise him enough for his professionalism, customer service and telephone manner. I own quite a few reels and his customer service was the best I have ever received. I will in future deal with him other than a well known reel service centre in Wales who frankly were not upto the task. Well done Sir you get a gold star!!!

So pleased, sent two reels that I thought we ready for the scrap heap (saltist 50 & ambassador 7000I) and got them back in perfect working order. Sent on a Friday morning and back with me the following Wednesday with a phone call from John on the Sunday in between to tell me they were done and being posted. Excellent service!! Excellent price. Had contacted UK Prologic after problems with my alarms. Prologic gave me John Wordsworth mobile number to contact for help/assistance. Rang and left voice mail message. Within minutes John had rang me back. Was not sure what sort of response I would get as untried source but my immediate fears subsided and John was very helpful and friendly from the start. In short while John had resolved my alarm problems without fuss explaining what to do over the phone. To top it all this was a FREE service where John Wordsworth was happy to give his time and expertise even though my alarms were not bought from him direct. Also if my problem could not be resolved he would be able to repair the alarms for small charge if sent to him. I would be happy to donate money for the advice/time given if a facility was available through this website. Excellent service.

I sent my Okuma to John just before i sent it to Davey Jones locker, years of Congering and not getting it serviced left the reel internally in a sorry state. John was determined not to be beaten and has got the reel working despite the parts not being available. I cannot recommend his service highly enough great value and he will be straight with you. My only regret is not getting my reels serviced annually something I will be doing in future. If you think your reel is a gonna give John a call if it can be fixed he will fix it!

I sent my Okuma reel which was in a sorry state to John.The service I received was outstanding. The reel was successfully repaired and returned in just over a week, and the damaged part also returned so I could see the extent of the damage. Sent my broken Fox 12000 fs mag to John for repair. I now have it back and it's working like new.

I contacted 3 other reel repair companies and they would not touch it as availability of fox parts are non existent.

I am so glad I found John he was able to source the part and kept me updated throughout . I will be sending all my reels to John in the future.

Needed some spare spools for my okuma reels got in contact with John at reel value and he sorted out some really good alloy one's. The service was great and I didn't have to wait long for them to arrive. Will be using reel value again.

I required a bail arm slider for my Okuma Spector reel. I had tried many other outlets but with no success. I then contacted `Reel Value`. John then emailed me to say the reel was discontinued, but if I sent him the broken item he would try and find a match. A couple of days later I received a phone call from John saying that he had turned out his shop and found the `last one in existence`. I have since received the item and my reel is serviceable once more. In this day and age for someone to take the time and trouble to search his stock for a very low value item is not the norm, therefore I would highly recommend `Reel Value` and I feel that it certainly lives up to its name..
